We bring Chicago a Hidden Harvest with packages of valuable gift certificates, cash and much more hidden around the city just waiting for you and your friends to claim them. Simply watch the Chicago Food Day web site, tweets and posts to get clues for different Hidden Harvest drops.  We’ll share clues to help you track a particular drop. Pitch in and help a worthwhile local program, the Peterson Garden Project (PGP)

Here’s your chance to pitch in and help a worthwhile local program! Peterson Garden Project (PGP) is a non-profit that uses donated land to teach people how to grow and cook their own food. PCP just announced they'll be working with a community partner to offer free healthy cooking classes for kids! It’s very important to teach kids how food grows from the land and how to make smart food choices.

To make this after-school program happen, PGP has launched a fundraising campaign to cover expenses required to host the program in their kitchen space. They're past the halfway mark, but have just 7 days to raise $1,600.  This is your chance to help kids learn how to eat better. It won’t take much if we all pitch in. Here's the link, please share and donate if you can! https://www.ioby.org/project/peterson-garden-project-kids-kitchen
